Tour overview
Anyone arriving in Arusha from far away for the first time will probably not know their way around and will be easily overwhelmed. This is why we offer a complete service. We pick up guests from the airport or bus station and take them to a suitable hotel. (From luxurious to inexpensive but clean, everything is possible.) We give visitors an overview of the options available and refer other companies if our admitted special offer doesn’t suit.
The big market (Sokokuu) is a must-see in Arusha. Next to the market is an incredible selection of second-hand clothes if you are in the mood for some shopping. We will go out to eat together, and there is the possibility to stop at an ice cream parlor too. Another thing not to be missed is a ride on a tuktuk, the three-wheeled vehicle that is an important means of transport. If you are not afraid, you can enjoy a bodaboda ride, which is the name of the motorbike taxis that sometimes manage incredible loads of transport. In the afternoon, we can drive towards Mount Meru, the mighty local mountain of Arusha, which towers over the area with its 4,566m height. We will take a half an hour hike through a newly planted forest to a group of “energy trees,” which invite us to linger and meditate. In between activities, we will also have time for more recommendations.
